Yes you do! Don't me mad at me! Why haven't you told your partner? You over there licking pussy and not telling the important stuff! Those are some of the comments on a recent internet discussion. We even had a post by Too SpiCee in our secret facebook group about women asking her to keep their relationship secret from her husband.I will be honest and say that I think cheating is WRONG! I don't care if it's me doing it, you doing it or your partner is doing it. It dosen't matter if you feel like it's justified or not. You know it's wrong. Now, what defines cheating is totally up to you and the person you are in a relationship with. What may be considered cheating to you may be quite alright with me and my husband.
BiSexual women have a BAD reputation when it comes to cheating. Some of it is justified to me because I know I have cheated on my partner at a time when I was going through my self discovery as a bisexual woman. I cheated on my man with women and when I found out thats what I liked I kept on doing it. It was easier to keep him out of it while I experimented. Needless to say that bred resentment in our partnership. It caused distrust and it was really bad because he did not approve or agree with any of my new lifesyle.
In the long run, many bisexual women go through discoveries about their sexuality while in relationships and thus the apperance that we can't make up our minds and we cheat. Just be honest with yourself and the people that you are in relationships with. It cuts back on all the drama and issues a lot of us go through.
Thank you for writing such a thoughtful, honest post on this subject. YES, Bisexual women do have a bad rap in the Lesbian & Bisexual community and it's for this very reason. I know it's SOME and NOT ALL Bisexual women. As a Lesbian I have heard the infamous line of "Sex with a woman is not really sex so I'm not cheating. Let me just say that for those who are CHEATING (yes my dear you are cheating) by justifying your actions by stating that you are devaluing not only your sexuality but the woman as well. It's bad enough that women are objectified and devalued by the male dominated society and standards, don't go adding to it by doing the same. Be open and honest about who you are and what you like and I guarantee you will find someone who will rock out with you and accept you for you...
